The question we were asked most often was the simplest one: where are my things right now? Until recently the honest answer involved calling a driver who might be on the highway with his phone in his pocket.

What has changed

All 240 vehicles now carry a GPS unit that reports position continuously, and our drivers run an app that does the same as a backup. Both feed the same system.

From the moment loading begins, your booking page shows a live map with the vehicle's current position, the route it has travelled, distance covered, distance remaining and an estimated arrival time that updates as it goes. Our operations team sees the same map for the whole fleet at once.

Automatic status updates

Because the system knows where the vehicle is, it also knows when it has arrived. Reaching your pickup or destination address updates the booking status and triggers a notification without anyone having to remember to press a button. Fewer missed updates, fewer phone calls.

Trip history

Every journey is stored, so if there is ever a question about timing or a delay, we can show exactly what happened rather than reconstructing it from memory. Position data is kept for 180 days and then deleted.

Privacy

Tracking follows the vehicle, not you, and only while your goods are aboard. Customers only ever see the vehicle carrying their own consignment. The full details are in our privacy policy.
